Alone Together

Program note: When Lilit asked me to write her a looping piece for her Songs of Solitude recital, I had a flashback to moments in my early childhood when I would overdub myself singing onto tape and make goofy sequences playing along with the beats on my little Casio keyboard. This piece is inspired by those early covert experiments and embracing the sheer joy of play. As exit music (for a recital): the title was inspired by Roberta Sparrow's last words to Donnie Darko.
